Simptome
- Pete uşor colorate pe faţa superioară a frunzei
- Puncte (sub 1 mm) pe toată suprafaţa frunzei
- Uneori se poate găsi un exoschelet pe faţa inferioară a frunzei
- Cicadelele zboară când plante este mişcată
Descriere
- Adulţii sunt insecte al căror corp are muchii de aproximativ 6 mm lungime
- Culoare verde, maro sau galben
- Se dispersează rapid atunci când sunt deranjate
- Picioarele sunt modificate pentru a putea sări
- Nimfele nu au aripi şi sunt ceva mai mici şi de o culoare mai deschisă
